Terms of Service

EVY INSIGHT is provided by OptoCeutics ApS, Nørrebrogade 45C, 2200 København N, Denmark — the company behind EVY LIGHT. Using EVY INSIGHT means accepting the terms below. They are written to be read, so they are short and in plain words.
What EVY INSIGHT is
It is a wellness companion for households that have EVY LIGHT. Once a week you answer a short check-in about everyday life — sleep, mood, energy, focus and memory — for the person you care for, and for yourself. In return, you get a private record of how the weeks are going, kept in one calm place.
What EVY INSIGHT is not
It is a general-wellness service, not a medical service, and it does not give medical advice. Nothing in it replaces the judgement of a doctor, a nurse or anyone else on your care team, and it is not a way to reach us urgently. If you are worried about someone's health, speak to a health professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Taking part never changes what you have bought
Joining EVY INSIGHT, declining it, answering every single week or stopping tomorrow has no effect whatsoever on the warranty, refunds or support for EVY LIGHT. Those stay exactly as they are, and nobody handling your warranty, refund or support request is told whether you take part.
Your account
EVY INSIGHT is for adults, so you need to be 18 or over to hold an account. We sign you in with a code sent to your email address, which means keeping access to that mailbox is what keeps your account yours. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it, and keep what you enter here accurate.
The answers are yours
You can read your own record at any time, ask us for a copy of it, correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can stop answering whenever you like, without giving a reason — there is a "Stop taking part" link in the account menu at the top of every page and in the footer, or you can simply ignore the weekly email. If you stop, we stop asking.
What we ask of you
Answer as honestly as you can, and only about your own household. Do not share someone else's information with us if they would not want you to. Do not try to break, overload or misuse the service, do not try to reach other people's information, and do not use it to reach people who have not asked to hear from us.
What belongs to whom
The service itself — its software, design and text — belongs to OptoCeutics ApS. Your answers stay yours; how we handle them is described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
EVY INSIGHT comes with EVY LIGHT at no extra charge, and we may improve, pause or withdraw parts of it. If we withdraw something you rely on, we will tell you in good time and give you a way to take your record with you. Occasional breaks for maintenance or faults are part of any service, and we do not promise it will never be unavailable.
If we part ways
You can close your account at any time, using the "Stop taking part" link in the account menu or the footer. Ask us for a copy of your record and we will send it to you — today that is a person putting it together by hand rather than a button, and we will have it to you within a month. We may close an account that misuses the service, and if we do, we will tell you why and give you your record first.
Changes to these terms
If we change them in a way that matters to you, we will email you before the change takes effect. Carrying on with the weekly check-ins after that means the new terms apply. If you would rather not accept them, you can close your account, and again — nothing about EVY LIGHT changes.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for running EVY INSIGHT with reasonable care and for keeping your information safe, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for decisions about someone's health or care that are made on the basis of what you see here. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
Which law applies
Danish law applies, and disputes belong before the Danish courts. This does not take away the protection of the law of the country or state you live in where that law says it cannot be taken away — in particular, if you live in the United States, nothing here waives a right your state's consumer law gives you, and nothing here stops you bringing a claim in your local small-claims court.
